5 Ways To Make Amends When You Go Wrong.
It would be an erroneous statement for me to come out here and tell you that, as humans, "we are always bound to make mistakes or get to offend people" as others would put it but I chose to say it this way, "we are humans, in our day-to-day activities we have the ever-increasing tendency to offend one another" but in the view of that we are not bound to.
Whichever one you chose to ascribe to, the fact still remains clear, which is, it's hard or impossible to comeby a person who has'nt done wrong before, either to his fellow human or unregulated atitude towards things.
At the end what really matters is the kind of feelings we have when we realise our mistake or unbecoming atitude and also, how we react to it; whether repentantly or adammant.
We feel more relieved and happier when we find solutions to most of our problems, so it is or should also be when we mend ways with people or other things around us, below are the 5 passionate ways we can make things 'Ok' when we go wrong. They are in no particular order:
1. Identify your mistake(s).
First thing first, you have to recognize where you had gone wrong, it helps you to avoid it/them another time after you have marked it/them as being wrong.
2. Apologize to your victim.
When you do this, though it may seem hard to do for some of us when we cross one another's path, it guarantees inner joy and peace after done, so, endeavour to do it, don't just bother yet if the other person is willing to understand or accept it, just make the move first as politely as possible.
3. Acknowledge that you are wrong.
Yes, you have to, since once you have realised you did the wrong thing, don't wait to share the blame or fault with the other person, just seek peace and you will find it.
4. Promise Not To Do It Again.
You can do this either to yourself, to the person you have done wrong to or to the object involved, for example, if it is your book(s) you have done wrong to by not minding to study it, then you can make amends with it and promise not to repeat it again else you may find yourself being thrown out of the examination hall for engaging in examination malpractise, which is bad itself and a product of your wrong doing, so, why repeat it again?
Finally,
5. Stick to your promise(s).
It helps a lot, when you have realised you had done the wrong thing and repented of it, there is no gain goin back to it again.
To find inner peace and your joy back, you can put this (including others) to practise, in no time you would overcome your worries and be glad you did.
There is no gain remaining in the wrong.
