Life Journey: How To See It Even As A Student.

 02:25     No comments

In life we come upon pains and gains When one overwhelms the other, it seems the later wouldn't show up again.
This is a write up of a student on how he sees life and how he tends to want you see it too. Because there are different calibre of people in the world today, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say that people perceive life in their different ways. For a student, life is neither a tough zone nor a bed of roses. It is fertile soil waiting to be cultivated on.
Though there may be tonne and tonnes of thorns surround it, the liver wouldn't let it be choked to death. It is still a promising fertile ground to achieve success on irrespective of the myriad of bushes surrounding it. Life is a good starting point, everyone should capitalize on it.
There is no gain saying that anyone who lives to see the sun rise, lives to witness another influx of possibilities and hope. Everyone harbours the hope of achieving success in life, students inclusive. If I may ask, what is the main aim of being in school? It is simply to achieve the knowledge that would see one solving practical life issues with the knowledge obtained in school. I am inclined to believe that anyone who goes to school with this aim is either there as a 'resident student' hoping not to ever graduate. No matter what you do or think, nature requires that you graduate and practise what you learnt.
Having said so, one of the ways to be a good student is to know why you are a student, the better way is to live up to it. There are no magics for success any where apart from these. A student who goes to school knowing why he or she is there will most likely do better than one who is forced to be in school! So, find out why you are there. But always remember, unless you hope to retire to a lonely desert after graduation, you will always be faced with the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learnt in school. Looking at it this way, you have to actually learn something in order to have what to offer as service after graduation. So, learn more things practically and genuinely today.
Furthermore, like every other category of people, there are certain things that could militate against a student achieving success in academics, one of them is lack of motivation. This is a big issue to be resolved. Some misled students no longer believe that there is the need to read hard or burn the midnight candles as it is said, they are more occupied with the thoughts of the outside world where they are inclined to think that there are no jobs waiting for them to grab after graduation. It is a big mistake. Yes, a lot of people who must have graduated long ago may not have gotten a job and so forth, but how does that determine your fate? So, study hard first, get the right knowledge and grades nd be ready to carve out your way in life.
One other thing that militates against students' success in school is the presence of overwhelming distraction in the name of extracurricular activities. In case you do not know, these are activities that are not related to school and academics, they include incessant clubbing and pageantry competitions. These good, as having fun to curb boredom is necessary in life but, too much of everything does not just add up. Try to live a positively balanced life, a little fun a little reason why you are in school, don't concentrate all your energy in things not related to why you are school with time you will find out that it helps to do so.
To sum it up all, life, to a student is a fertile ground. It is a good soil that needs to be cultivated on. Though there may be challenges, opportunities are there to overcome them.Remember; life is a good starting point, so, capitalize on it.

Your turn.
